Location: A stone's throw from the seafront in Sidmouth.

Accommodation: Two steps to entrance. Open-plan room with sitting area at one end, with three piece suite, small TV and electric fire; dining area at the other. Newly decorated, fitted kitchen with gas cooker, fridge, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher.  Door  to cloakroom with basin and spin dryer plus separate WC. Straight stairs with handrail to first floor. Newly fitted bathroom with bath, hand-held shower attachment and basin. Two further steps to separate WC and landing. Bedroom 1 is large, with double bed, wash basin and plentiful storage. It offers sea views. Bedroom 2 is small with twin beds and a wash basin. Winding staircase (with sloped ceiling) to 2nd floor. Bedroom 3 has double bed, pine furnishings, wash basin, sloping ceiling and sea views.

Outside: Gate to communal terrace entrance. Very small garden area to front of cottage with mature shrubs and bench for guests' private use. Rear enclosed courtyard with garden furniture. Children's playpark and lawned public recreation area in front of the property. Seafront less than 1 minute level walk. Indoor swimming pool, Tourist Information Centre and short

Restrictions: One small pet. No smoking. Guests should park in nearby public car parks where weekly permits are available. There is a short stay car park almost adjacent. Linen and towels are not included but can be hired.

Facilities: Gas and electricity included. Night storage heaters. Electric convector heaters provided. Travel cot and high chair provided.

Stayed in August. Excellent appearance and found to be very clean and tidy. Very pleased to be able to use a dishwasher and washing machine. Books, games and toys also appreciated. Absolutely look forward to coming here.

A perfect little cottage for our family holiday - suitably located opposite the local park. The property was well equipped. Sidmouth has so much to offer and is a lovely seaside town.

Just stayed here last week (October 2014) and had another great stay. We stayed here October 2013 too and since then the kitchen has been refitted with dishwasher and downstairs toilet repainted along with kitchen. Outside back patio area greatly improved too. This is a three double bedroom house over three floors. Downstairs lounge, dining area, kitchen, toilet then on first floor double bedroom, twin bedroom, another toilet and bathroom. Finally second floor another double bedroom. All good sizes and with sinks. It's a nice house, nothing posh but it is clean and ok. Price was excellent for the week and we hired bedding too. I would not recommend this house for people who aren't agile as the stairs are steep and narrow. But both double bedrooms have sea view and we love it. It is close to the seafront and within minutes of The Byes nature walk. Town centre very close and almost next to leisure centre. Location is perfect with kiddies park outside the front. No car parking with this but for £25 you can buy a seven day parking pass for the long stay car park up near Connaught Gardens. This also allows use of the short stay car parks (council ones) but only for a couple of hours. All in all basic but homely and we will stay again no problem.
