Stayed in June. Been all over Devon throughout the last 15 years and this is by far the nicest cottage we have hired. Well maintained and extremely clean. Beautiful garden with outdoor seating for the early riser to have an espresso or the late nighter to sit and have a glass of wine.

We have just returned from a lovely week away at Gill Cottage! It was so clean and well equipped and sitting on the bench in the garden in the afternoon sun with a pint from the pub next door was glorious! Just out the back gate and across the road there is a bridal path that takes you up some lovely hills with loads of bluebells where there are fields for the dog to run and there's even a swing in one of them for the kids. Wifi was brilliant and helped research days out and we didn't miss not having a phone signal. Definitely recommend Gill Cottage.

Wish we could live here. The cottage garden has ample parking for 2 cars. No shortage of creature comforts, from washing machine, dishwasher, TV and DVD, very comfortable beds, beautifully quiet rooms. This was truly a house that without any effort could be mistaken for a home. All fixtures and fittings were top quality. Our only regret - that it had to come to an end.
