Location: A prime location in the centre of Beer, close to all amenities and approximately 250 metres to the beach. The house is one of the few in central Beer to have private parking which can accommodate 2 cars.
From the original front door a bright hallway with a useful coat rack leads to the kitchen. There is an under stairs storage cupboard from which guests are welcome to borrow picnic equipment and small rucksacks.
Kitchen: The kitchen is well-equipped with double oven and grill and a microwave. The Butler Sink faces a window looking out onto the main village street. There is a SMEG fridge/freezer, dishwasher and plentiful cupboard space. The kitchen is also equipped with filter coffee and Nespresso coffee machines. The worktops are wood and granite and there are attractive tableware sets and cutlery for up to ten people. A back door leads to a good-sized utility room with a large washing machine and tumble dryer.
Dining Room: Next to the kitchen is a large dining room. This is a bright and airy room with stripped floor boards and large windows facing the village square. A beautifully rustic 'weathered' Oak dining table is perfect for less formal dining but has the ability to seat a party of 10 when fully extended thanks to its two additional leaves. There is a shabby-chic style console table with a huge selection of games and jigsaws to keep everyone entertained should there be a rainy afternoon! A feature fireplace and large over-mantel mirror make this a very attractive room to sit and chat over dinner.
Sitting Room : The sitting room at Farnham House is both cool in summer and cosy in winter. It is a good size with stripped wooden floors and double aspect windows. There are two sofas as well as a comfortable leather armchair and coffee table. The original feature fireplace has a gas stove providing dancing flames over a realistic log fuel bed- conveniently at the touch of a button! There is an LG Smart TV with a Sky Box and an iPod music player.
Master Bedroom with En-Suite: The Master Bedroom is at the front of the house. Fresh coastal-inspired colours and nautical influences make this bedroom light and airy. There is a comfortable wrought iron bed and New England style bedside tables and a wardrobe. This room has an en-suite with a sink, shaver point and a generous sized shower.
Bedroom 2: This striking boutique hotel style bedroom is also at the front and is decorated in greys, white and neutrals, inspired by the pebbles on Beer beach. It has a wrought iron bed, feature fireplace and large wardrobe with mirrored door.
Bedroom 3: Bedroom 3 is a single room at the side of the property. It is decorated in a colourful nautical style, particularly suitable for a child but just as nice for an adult guest! It has a good sized chest of drawers and a bedside table.
Family Bathroom: The family bathroom has a coastal feel with white wooden panelling and walls painted in a fresh and bright duck-egg blue. There is a bath with Aqualisa shower over.
Second Floor: There are two further bedrooms on the second floor both looking out over the village roof tops to the sea.
Bedroom 4: Bedroom 4 is a characterful room decorated in fresh light blues with driftwood style floorboards. It has a double bed, walk-in wardrobe and lovely views.
Bedroom 5: Bedroom 5 has a double leather sofa-bed but also makes a fantastic games and TV room. There is a TV with Amazon Firestick, a PS3, CD player and a DVD player with an enormous selection of DVDs. A single Aerobed is also available.
A driveway accommodating 2 cars is at the side of the house with direct access to the back door. There is a small front garden with a lovely patio and tables and chairs available to sit out and enjoy the sunshine.
Gas central heating. All bedlinen and towels included. WiFi. Up to two dogs allowed.
