What a fabulous cottage! So homely, comfy, cosy and welcoming. Everything we could want and more, even down to the phone chargers in the basket in the kitchen. You thought of everything. This was perfect for myself, my 84 year old mum, my son (16), my daughter (19), her boyfriend and my cousin. We have had a wonderful week. We have been to Beer may times and this is one of the nicest places we have stayed. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely cottage with us, the wonderful welcome basket and the "guess the number of cars competition" which was lots of fun. Hope to be back soon.
We had a wonderful stay at Victoria Cottage. We were delighted with the furnishings and all the mod-cons, including high speed broadband! Our young son loved his room on the top floor. The outdoor area out the back was also nice- although we didn’t get to use it until the Friday because of the bad weather!! We also really enjoyed Pecorama, a short walk up the hill- brilliant for families. Thank you for a lovely week. We hope to be back.
This was our second time staying at Victoria Cottage, as ever the cottage was very well equipped, Thank you! We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed the coastal walks to Seaton and Branscombe. The Fountain Head pub at Branscombe was well worth the trek up the hill to the other side of the village. Further afield Forde Abbey & Gardens was well worth the visit.
Lovely Easter holiday, we enjoyed our stay in Victoria Cottage. One of the best Beer cottages we have stayed in.
We wanted to drop you a line, to say we had a wonderful time,The weather was fine and the food was divine,We've always loved Beer, we feel at home here,So do not fear, we'll be back next year!We roamed around Devon, it really was heaven, Our days numbered seven.RHYMING IS HARD!!
What a beautiful few days! Beer is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of London and I couldn’t have asked for anything better than Victoria Cottage.Highlights were the Beer to Branscombe coast walk- a great way to see the Jurassic Coastline in all its glory, a (chilly!) dip in the sea and a great meal out at The River Cottage in Axminster.Looking forward to the next visit already!
