Dorset Cottages

West Dorset really is one of the most beautiful places in England to rent a holiday cottage; a county of great beauty and spectacular scenery with its breathtaking coastline, stunning countryside and vibrant villages.

The Dorset and East Devon Coast, known as the Jurassic Coast, features many natural landmarks including Lulworth Cove, Chesil Beach and Durdle door, and extends over 86 miles from Lyme Regis in the west to Christchurch in the east, offering a selection of the finest sandy beaches to be found in the UK. It is the only natural UNESCO World Heritage Site in England, ranking the Jurassic Coast alongside the Grand Canyon and Great Barrier Reef as one of the natural wonders of the world.

With many areas of outstanding natural beauty, Dorset is ideal for exploring on foot, by bicycle or on horseback. The picturesque New Forest, the heritage cities of Bath and Salisbury and the awe-inspiring Stonehenge make Dorset a popular holiday destination for self catering holidays and short breaks.
